Ratings and reviews

While I did finish the book on one try, it was a very long and hard try. To me the story fell flat, the characters lacked any interesting qualities and to top it off there was way more book than necessary. I wouldn't recommend this one... under any circumstances.

Even though i was hesitent to get into this book, once i started reading, i couldn‘t stop. This writer has a way with knowing how to express a woman‘s inner world. I have since read some of her other books and very much enjoyed them

I love this book but the way she talks about asians...kinda sus. 👀 The way she stereotypes every asian girl as quiet and boring is NOT it sis.

Emily Giffin is the author of Something Borrowed, her smash-hit debut novel that was made into a major motion picture. She is also the author of Something Blue, Baby Proof, Love the One You’re With, and Heart of the Matter. Giffin is a graduate of Wake Forest University and the University of Virginia School of Law. After practicing litigation at a Manhattan firm for several years, she moved to London to write full time. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and children.
