ruined a classic by missing pages and just bad scanning in general. Good job I have the book. above date- what's that all about? Am I in a time warp??

This particular book is scanned from paper pages. Unfortunately, the scanning quality is poor and on some pages some text is unreadable. There are even whole pages missing - pages 74 to 81 have been completely skipped which detracts from the enjoyment of the book.

Overrall a dark novel. I still think Heathcliff is evil. The book is average.. a very well-written book for a young writer (Emily Bronte). Her sister's book, Jane Eyre, (written by Charlotte Bronte) is a much better read.
