About this ebook

The white dress. The diamond ring. The full church.

The…missing groom.

Molly Miller had become a cliché when Jackson Davis left her at the altar, but she’d crawled back from the heartbreak and embarrassment and was living her dream of running a successful bakery in San Francisco.

Well, good riddance.

She didn’t need Jackson, or any other man in her life.

He’d gone and that was that.

Until one early morning Jackson walked through the front door of her restaurant.

And her whole world imploded.

Jumping into this read, I liked the direction it was heading: tarnished relationship, left at the alter, loved one targeted by the mafia after a deal goes wrong, potential second chance romance before hitting the 18% where I was left WTFing with the random ass sex scene I was not expecting. During their reunion, there was barely any groveling or talk of reconciliation before the characters randomly kiss that eventually led them to have hot office sex. It escalated so fast, I was completely thrown by it that I couldn't help but actually laughed out loud. It was so out of the blue considering the main characters have gone four years without seeing one another and to then be in each other's presences for a mere few hours before that all happened?! Yeah no, I wasn’t feeling that. That said, if we over look that particular scene ‘Bad Wedding’ was a decent nice second romance filled with hot steamy scenes, scorching chemistry, endless drama, and the perfect amount of suspense.

This the second chance romance story of Molly and Jackson. If you have read the novel “Bad Blind Date,” you were briefly introduced to Molly, the owner and main chef of the bakery/restaurant of Molly’s. This is her story and the story of the bakery/restaurant. Molly and Jackson were once engaged, and Jackson left Molly at the altar. She has never forgiven him for his betrayal although is an investor in her restaurant. So, after four years she reaches out to him to buy him out so she can forget him and move on with her life. However, when he shows up, old feelings flare up as does the action in this novel. Molly and Jackson are strong characters who love each other as fiercely as they love what they do for a living. As they maneuver the ups and downs of the relationship, life in general, and the main reason Jackson sort of ghosted Molly, they realize the other is the perfect puzzle piece. The novel ends on a HEA and there are blurbs of upcoming novels of the secondary characters in this novel. The writing is spectacular, engaging, and action-filled as usual. This novel is worth the first read and a second read, just to make sure you did not miss anything. I received a free advanced reader copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.
