"Free" is not "free" if a payment method is demanded to receive the material. With global banking these days, it makes the "show credit card and another proof of identification" mentality obsolete, and it's an elitist way of turning away potential customers. How exactly does providing a payment method prove anything other than the ability to purchase the material? What relevance does having a payment method have for supposedly free material?

I gave four stars because who ever edited this got Naruto's rasengan wrong. Chakra in the Naruto manga is yellow they only used blue chakra in the anime. So his rasengan should be yellow. Other then that this a very good started for people getting into Viz manga.

If this book is free then why do I need a credit card? Can we actually have this book with out paying? I really wish I could read it yet I cant. I also really like this book series ,so please help😭

About the author

Eiichiro Oda began his manga career at the age of 17, when his one-shot cowboy manga Wanted! won second place in the coveted Tezuka manga awards. Oda went on to work as an assistant to some of the biggest manga artists in the industry, including Nobuhiro Watsuki, before winning the Hop Step Award for new artists. His pirate adventure One Piece, which debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1997, quickly became one of the most popular manga in Japan.
