Ratings and reviews

A good story, though it lacks some of the--hmm, flair, excitement?--of the earlier Elminster titles. Though it's well worth reading. The ending has me anxious to read the next book, and hoping it brings back the Elminster of old.

Never gonna happen, even if I must ask the venerable Mr. Greenwood himself for permission to ignite a wish spell!

Ed Greenwood is the creator of the Forgotten Realms fantasy setting, an award-winning game designer, and a best-selling author whose fantasy novels have sold millions of copies worldwide in more than thirty languages.
