*****5 Slow Burning Stars***** Slow Burn is one of my favorite books by E.B. Walters. Slow Burn is a good mix of mystery, action and romance, revenge. Ashley witnessed the death of her parent 10 years ago in a horrible fire and her mind has completely blocked out the night of fire; Ashley is a successful photographer and artist. Ron is a wealthy businessman that has body of god and loves women and fast cars. Someone is leaving clues for Ron to about what happened that night so he can clear his father’s name, rumor has it that he was an arsonist; one of the clues leads him to Ashley. Since Ashley mind has blocked out that night she does things to help her not to forget things. Ron try’s to talk to Ashley and she keeps putting him off assuming he a customer; Ron finds himself at her door step trying to talk to Ashley and she thinks that Ron a model for her erotic series and Ron figures this is his way in to get her to help. When Ron convinces Ashley to help it’s only then do they figure they are both endanger; someone does not want these secrets to be uncovered. As they work together to solve what really happened that night the. While working side by side to figure out what really happened Ron and Ashley passion ignites between them (explicit scenes a lot good ones). Will Ron and Ashley figure out what really happened; will they be able to stay together when all the secrets come out; can Ron keep Ashley safe? This story was filled with twists and turns that keeps you glued to the pages until the very end; this book is thrilling, sexy, sensual, and emotional. *****ARC from NetGalley for review*****

I can honestly say that I have really enjoyed this book. The story is suspenseful, the characters are clearly defined, relationships are so present day. . . That's even the typos can be easily worked around.

It's pretty good. but I won't continue with this series. the intimate encounters are described in flowery language, "She squeezed him with her nether muscles." that I find annoying and that distracts me.
