About this ebook

No one is exempt from adversity. In the midst of suffering and tragedy multitudes have cried out to God, "Where are You, don't you care?"
Lacking answers, some people turn against God when bad things happen, blaming Him; others turn to God, trusting Him despite circumstances.
The purpose of this book is to provide the Biblical answer to the question, "God, where were you when...?" and to explain how your pain doesn't have to go to waste, but can become a purpose and make a positive difference in the lives of others!

About the author

Dr. Pamela Parker has a passion to heal the broken hearted and facilitate breakthroughs. Witness to her alcoholic father's physical abuse of her mother, as well as being the victim of sexual abuse in her early years, by age 16 Pam had a nervous breakdown and attempted suicide. Angry at God and with no hope for the future she began a self-destructive odyssey that led to her becoming the victim of a series of violent crimes, culminating with her being kidnapped and having her life miraculously preserved.

Shortly after that Pam's life was radically transformed when she accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. Since that time Pam has been a guest on Christian television programs and has traveled internationally, preaching not only in churches, conducting seminars, and ministering at women's meetings and conferences, but also in universities, girls homes, orphanages, and women's prisons.

Pam has personally experienced God's healing and restoration in her life and is committed to showing others how the trauma of the past can be turned for good and become one of their greatest assets!
