Excellent book! I recommend it 100%. I learned a lot from the book and related to it on a personal level as well. Dr. Moorer's story is an example of hardwork, persistance and resilliance. Also, his faith in God is truly admirable, serves as a lesson to anyone that is pursuing their dreams and motivation when going through trials and tribulations.

This was a candid and inspirational read that so many people from a multitude of backgrounds can relate to. Dr. Moorer's unique depiction of his exceptional educational, professional, personal, and spiritual journey is both heartfelt and insightful. I couldn't put it down!

About the author

Dr. Cleamon Moorer is the dean of the College of Business at Baker College. Baker College is Michigan's largest, independent institution of higher education. His path to university teaching is far from traditional. He made the leap of faith to resign from a Global Service Executive position at AT&T to start-up a management consulting firm. He began university teaching at the age of 26. 

He credits God for transforming him from being a college flunk-out to becoming an engineer, executive, consultant, and ultimately a university professor and dean all in less than 20 years. He is also a board member ex-officio, of  Dr. C Moorer & Associates, Inc. (a registered 501(c)3 scholarship-providing and grant-making organization.)drcmoorer.org
