The Books:

The Halloween Man
"A brilliant novel, up there with the best of Straub, King, and Koontz."* From award-winning author Douglas Clegg comes a riveting, edge-of-your-seat novel of supernatural suspense and horror. Set in the mysterious New England village of Stonehaven, a boy has been raised within a labyrinth of dark secrets -- and now, as he approaches manhood, a terrifying destiny awaits him.

"Clegg's stories can chill the spine so effectively that the reader should keep paramedics on standby."-- Dean Koontz, NY Times bestselling author of The Husband, Odd Thomas, Velocity and many others.

"Combining both the quiet horror of a Charles Grant with the all-out spectacles of a Stephen King, Clegg's storytelling has never been better. The Halloween Man is a brilliant novel, up there with the best of Straub, King, and Koontz, and one of the most original tales of terror to come along in quite a while." -- Edward Lee, bestselling horror novelist.

The Words
A novella of friendship, terror, gods & monsters. When teenager Mark befriends outsider Dash, he believes his new friend to be an outcast rebel. But a dark mystery unfolds as Dash leads Mark into dangerous games and rituals involving stories of the occult and a strange drug that allows Dash to see into another world -- a world of absolute darkness and terror.

The Nightmare Chronicles
The Bram Stoker Award-winning and International Horror Guild Award-winning short story collection -- 13 tales of disturbing horror and twisted psychological suspense fill The Nightmare Chronicles by Douglas Clegg.

These short stories from a master storyteller of horror "can chill the spine so effectively that the reader should keep paramedics on standby, " says author Dean Koontz.

It begins in an old tenement with a horrifying crime. It continues after midnight, when a young boy, held captive in a basement, is filled with unearthly visions of fantastic and frightening worlds.

How could his kidnappers know that the ransom would be their own souls?

For, as the hours pass, the boy's nightmares invade his captors like parasites -- and soon, they become real.

Contains the short stories "Underworld," "O Rare and Most Esquisite," "The Rendering Man," "The Fruit of Her Womb," "The Hurting Season," "Chosen," "The Night Before Alec Got Married," "Only Connect," "The Little Mermaid," "Damned If You Do," "The Ripening Sweetness of Late Afternoon," and the acclaimed novelettes, "White Chapel" and "I Am Infinite, I Contain Multitudes."

"Douglas Clegg pulls out the stops of terror!" -- Publisher's Weekly

NOTE: All of three ebooks are also available separately, but this bundle brings a great price to the lover of supernatural horror fiction.

The short stories were so stupid. Several of them or just vulgar. Not worth the $2 I paid for it.
