As secrets are revealed, Iona also learns that she has more family and that she is in more danger than she thought in this spellbinding installment of Hot Blooded. The fast pace keeps readers spellbound with lots of additional characters from the past and Iona and Laith’s progressing relationship. The reader can’t help but get caught up in the story as Laith begins to realize that Iona means more to him than he thought and Iona starts to accept the same thing, especially as both doesn’t want that to happen. The suspense builds and excitement ensures that the reader can’t put the story down and of course waiting impatiently for the next installment. Reading the story like this certainly builds anticipation but so far, I still feel that I like them better when I get to read the whole thing at once. So with toes tapping and fingers drumming I await the conclusion to this thrilling Dragon King story. 4 ½ STARS
