About the author
Diane Setterfield ist promovierte Romanistin und lebte viele Jahre in Frankreich. Bevor sie sich Vollzeit der Schriftstellerei widmete, arbeitete sie als Lehrerin. Ihr Debüt, »Die dreizehnte Geschichte« (Blessing, 2007), war ein internationaler Bestseller und wurde mit Vanessa Redgrave in der Hauptrolle von der BBC verfilmt. Diane Setterfield lebt in Oxford.
