the story doesn't seem to make sense, until everything falls into place at the end. a most creative and adventurous end, thanks to Howl, Calcifer and the enchanting Waif.

A very good follow up to Howl's Moving Castle. However it's also good as a stand alone book. I really enjoyed it and am so glad to have found it to buy in hardback. (Our local library had the other two, but not this one)
