Diana Washington Valdez is an international journalist based in Texas. Over the years, she has investigated and reported on government corruption, the military, health issues, and high-profile crimes. She has received numerous awards and decorations for her work. The author is one of the most interviewed journalists alive today. She has collaborated on dozens of podcasts, including several related to the women's murders in Mexico: iHeart's "Forgotten: The Women of Juarez", documentaries like "Border Echoes/Ecos de una frontera" and "Dark Suns", TV and radio programs, and more. She has been featured in interviews in Investigation Discovery, A&E, among others. She has spoken at conferences and seminars in 30 cities in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, and Europe.
