Ratings and reviews

I first read Outlander around 30 years ago. Since then, have read the series at least three times and just finished Go Tell the Bees. The scope, detail and history of these books are astounding, but even more so, the characters stay with you long afterward.

I was wary if this much-anticipated Outlander book. So much to live up to. Bees was far more than I ever imagined it could be. The details, the history. Wow. The characters and multiple story lines were outstanding. The last 100 pages were storytelling at its best eliciting so much emotion, I felt I was there. At the end Gabaldon gives a perfect blend of bliss and anticipation..

I loved this book. Diana Gabaldon is my favorite living author! I only hope it doesn't take her 7 years to write the next one!
