Highly recommend the Allie Beckstrom series! This novel is a little more heavy on the Shame character and growing info on Allie's father/background. Big stuff going down, and continuing a lead-up to 'crap hittin the fan'. I love that Monk's writing keeps everything moving - a quick and wonderful read for fans of supernatural/magic/fantasy series that take place in a modern era. Great universe!
