This story is about Terri Barnhart who is an RN that has been taking care of her brother since the accident that severely injured him and killed their parents while she is finishing nursing school and paying for his college. Then her brother goes missing for three months. David Martin is in a Covert CIA specialist, who was ask to take on this very special assignment. His cover will be a staff member in the HR department at MUSC (Medical University of South Carolina). But there just one catch to this new assignment it is a permanent undercover assignment to be on the lookout for terrorist activity. Terri meets the new guy in HR whom she doesn’t know that he is there undercover to protect her, her mentor and to find out what her brother has been doing while he was gone. Her brother Trey return seem to coincide with some very strange things that have been happenings. When Debra Webb and Regan Black team up you know that you will get suspense and lots of action and of course romance. If you enjoy these kinds of books then you can’t miss this one. It will keep you on the edge of your seat to the very last page.
