My fav and impetus for my reading of his books. In the early 80's I was babysitting a couple of kids in the next section of culls'-de-sac's of houses we lived in from ours that I had gotten the kid's to bed, at their earliest tries, due to the fact that I'd worn them plum out that day playing hard at the park, my culs'-de-sac's that I lived in their home to get them to get ready for bedtimes.

A simple 200+ mystery thriller that builds in tension until the final act. The ending is not for the faint of hearts, coupled with a vivid imagination.

The ease at which this work was read is brilliant. It's difficult to believe it's fiction at times.
