A dog, a man and a woman with supernatural powers save the day, typical set up for Koontz. There was a bit of a surprise plot twist but overall the story was very short and not very good. Tons of stereotypes! Disappointing because I usually like Koontz stories.

Most die hard fans will enjoy it and give it 5 stars. I'm amongst the fan who sees this novella as a way to dig a little deeper into our pocket.

Makani, Pogo and Bob are just as endearing as Odd. Hope there are more books coming with them.
