it was like reading a murder mystery but it is nonfiction. affecting lives for generations. I've been watching the series Reservation Dogs. In the show the daughter asked her father if they owned the land. His reply was gut wrenching. "Honey, we are Native Americans, we don't own any land". And even when they did the story of this book was the result. Shame on all of us.
