Bonita Lawrence “Bonnie” Guy
To have started out as a bit odd, it turned into the best Amos Decker novel
I've read and I've read them all. Thoroughly enjoyed this novel, it had me
hanging till the last couple of chapters. I loved the ending of him and
Zoe. On your acknowledgment to your wife, I read the top line and thought
that you were going to say something sweet or romantic to her, then you
blew it.....I've remarked on the before, as I'm sure she takes good care of
you when you are locked away drifting.....like making sure you eat and
change your clothes (and washing your smelly clothes after a couple of days
wearing them), haha Give her an extra "just because" hug. Love your books.

This was the first book of this series that I read, only one available at
the airport bookstore, and loved it. The story holds it's self well even if
you haven't read the previous books.

I think that in order to be truly enjoyable that the "hero" of any story
should have some weaknesses as well as strengths. Baldacci succeeded in a
big way. I highly recommend this book.
