This was the dumbest book I've ever read. The art was terrible, the jokes were all the same, and it is very short. I highly recommend not ever thinking about buying this monstrosity!!!

This is a Kid's Kid's Book. Parents aren't aloud to ruin the relationship between "hating" (school/homework/chores) and finding the humor in things for these readers. My child went through major trauma (home & school) and Pilkey was able to cradle some of our issues and promote an outlet for some of the socio-emotional trauma they had been EXPOSED TO being an only child, unliked (by 'certain' girls), and embracing "favorite" things. I applaud Pilkey on his relative stance. Sometimes, out-of-the-box is the way to go❣️ Good work❣️❣️

i think its pretty bad cuz dav pilkey didnt put creation and he put G.&H.s story from kindergarten. & it took up the entire book and its a chapter book.

About the author

When Dav Pilkey was a kid, he was diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia. Dav was so disruptive in class that his teachers made him sit out in the hallway every day. Luckily, Dav loved to draw and make up stories. He spent his time in the hallway creating his own original comic books -- the very first adventures of Dog Man and Captain Underpants. In the second grade, Dav's teacher ripped up his comics and told him he couldn't spend the rest of his life making silly books. Fortunately, Dav was not a very good listener.
