Great insight into the Solo family and Calrissian. Really enjoy learning more about L3 and Lando's relationship. The book starts off slow and takes till about just past midway to pick up. Early chapters seem convoluted as they jump from different years (e.g. 15 years ago, 10 years ago). However, this does pay off in the end as the different stories paint the bigger picture. This book comes in towards the bottom of the pack for the new canon books in my opinion. Still a good read for those of us that enjoy Han, Lando, and the Solo movie.

I wouldn't recommend this book to people I dislike. Older has zero grasp of the characters and writes them poorly, and exactly the same. Han is Lando, and Lando is Han, but promiscuous and a little conflicted about it.

I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put it down if I had to. I spent break time at work and read myself to sleep many night just to try and see what would happen, or who's story would be next.
