Dan Jones is the New York Times bestselling author of many nonfiction books, including Powers and Thrones, The Templars, and The Plantagenets. Wolves of Winter is the second novel in his Essex Dogs series, following the fortunes of ordinary soldiers in the Hundred Years War.
