I have been out of comics for quite some time. I still enjoy them, and I enjoy gritty violence and was really thinking that it would be a volume of one-on-one action between Hulk and Wolverine almost like the "What if" comic. However, this story had so much in smut & sexual connotations that I deleted it from my Google library. The art was stupendous, the battle scenes were awesome. But, holy crap, I can go without having a bunch of naked people being thrown all in my grill, because the story could have been simply told of a love gone wrong and it would have told the story just as accurately. Maybe this is what people are looking for now in comics, but I just miss the stories of old where two opposing characters could fight it out in gritty, messy battles. And while this did it, all the sex turned me off from it. Call me old fashioned if you must, but I can live my life without viewing women as an object of desire and as ACTUAL PEOPLE. It seriously reminded me of the old Conan comics (of which you can guess that I don't read them either). Really frustrating. bE

The art is just amazing and the story is great. Had some really funny parts and is interesting to see how (spoiler) Banner almost comes to terms with being The Hulk and just how far Ultimate Wolverine's healing abilities can go. Definitely a fun read.
