I’ve been reading this series for years and it still holds my attention every time. Some of the power are a little crazy but the one’s in this story are right up my alley and the fact that the story is set in New Orleans is even better. Skylar Livingston has a lot of power. She’s a very private person so when a man comes into her voodoo store asking questions she is not happy at all. The thing that I like about the book was its examination of human nature, through the souls of the ghosts Gage and Skylar encounter. This book revolves around souls crossing over, there is also a mystery of missing Tarot cards. I think if you like the paranormal, you’ll enjoy this book, I know I did.

Another fav from this paranormal suspense romance series from Dale Mayer. The supernatural things in this book so fascinating, so captivating that make this book one of my from this series. The nuances, the ghost, all supernatural stuff in New Orleans just chef's kiss. Entertaining paranormal suspense romance read, definitely recommended.
