When Dianna, a friend of Ice and Levi, phoned them in distress after being attacked in a hotel car park little did she know how her life was about to change. Noah Wilkerson heard the call and was immediately dispatched to help. Dianne was looking forward to the weekend seminar where she was to be a speaker, she was hoping to start a healthy eating franchise in Huston at a suggestion from Ice. Noah was part of Levi's team of highly trained ex military personnel called "Heroes for Hire". Someone was trying to get at Levi by hurting his friends and the attempts to scare Dianne escalated ......but she had Noah at her side and despite the continuous bickering there was an attraction there, had Levi and Ice's magic worked again. The targeting of Dianne became more sinister until they were life threatening. As Noah and his buddies closed in on the perpetrator Dianne and Noah's attraction grew. Another great story in the brilliant "Heroes for Hire series, Dale Mayer always manages to make her characters so likeable. A 3.75 stars read. I miss Levi and Ice's team. Heroes for hire is my first series from Dale Mayer, so this series has special place in my heart especially Levi and Ice and now there's cute adorable Hunter that makes everything sweeter. Okay apart from how I love this series, I really enjoy this latest book. This book started with an attack, the suspense was high from the beginning. I got to see Noah as a knight in shining armor from the first chapter and it was great. It's also a page-turner story, I love the mystery of finding out what's the real motive behind all these attacks. Then add cute romance between Noah and Dianne, I love their banter from their beginning, the teasing and flirting is so cute. Although it's a bit dragging and many repetitions in the middle and there's a "why he did that" that got me a bit confused, this book still an enjoyable and entertaining romantic suspense read for me.

I have been an avid reader of Dale Mayer for many, many books and each is unique, filled with protective men and women. Noah's Nemesis is a standalone book and kept me guessing with each page turn. Twists and turns and attacks against an innocent woman. Strong men and stronger women. A romance, a story of family and friendship. Heroes for Hire -- each book is an adventure. I am looking forward to many more books within the series (and glimpses of old friends). I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
