Ratings and reviews

This was a very good book. The combination of suspense, emotion, angst, drama, mystery, danger and action was quite thrilling and kept me focused and engaged from the beginning to the end. Langdon and Molly were likable characters, and their romance gave my heart a workout.

Molly is kidnapped to use as leverage against Langdon. Arthur needs Langdons abilities, and knows asking for help will be denied. Bingo is Arthur's psycho partner, and Molly's life is in danger with him in the picture. This was an up all night read that I couldn't put down.

I've read of Mayer's books & enjoyed them. There is a formula to the ones featuring military & ex-military types. This one also has a very good plot, more complex than some of her other books. If you like former military types with psychic abilities this is the the one for you.
