About the author

Crystal Bowman loves writing books for kids. Her books come in all shapes and sizes and many of them have become best sellers. Whether her stories are written in playful rhythm and rhyme, or short sentences for beginning readers, she tries to make them so enjoyable that kids will want to read them over and over again. "But the most important part," she says, "is to teach children that God loves them and cares about them very much."

As a child, Richard Johnson was always happiest with a pencil and a scrap of paper to scribble on. He decided to pursue his passion for art and went on to study illustration at Loughborough University of Art and Design. Some of the books he has worked on include Aesop’s Fables, If Elephants Wore Trousers, Around the World in Eighty Tales, The Peter Pan Jigsaw Book, and his own story, My Grandpa’s Amazing Inventions.
