I met Walt a few years ago when I won a contest on the Penguin Books website. I got to choose one of four mysteries and "Kindness Goes Unpunished" was the one that sounded best so I picked it. I quickly bought and read "A Cold Dish" and "Death Without Company". And here I am with a crush on Walt. I like Walt's literary side, how well read he is. I enjoy the stories woven throughout Walt's tales. In this novella, we learn back story about Walt as a new sheriff, Lucian's background, & Steamboat.

As usual, Johnson has woven a fantastic story for Walt and the others, and as usual I couldn't put it down. In at the point now where I have read all the books in the series, and Iam finding it difficult to wait for the next one to come out!

Nice story with some good backstory history, smiling as I finished it :o)
