This is the seventh book in the Aussie Heroes: Retribution Bay series. It can be read as a standalone but I believe the series is best read in order because of the secondary story arc that runs throughout the series. Stonefish is still messing with the Stokes family and Dot's best friend has gone missing. She's starting to believe that someone in her department is involved and to make matters worse her ex is here to explore and catalog a shipwreck. Oliver needs answers from Dot on what went wrong in the relationship and why Dot ghosted him. Oliver wants to try again but Dot is afraid to let him back into her life. Their story is a second chance romance with suspense. I can't wait to read the final book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Claire Boston doesn’t disappoint. Wrecked in Retribution Bay is a fabulous book. With each book in this series the tension has built and because of that tension I wanted to read the book in one session. The story is well written and well researched. Dot, we have met in previous books, and we learn of her back story but Oliver is a new comer who fits into Retribution Bay. Both characters are multi-dimensional and relatable. An excellent book and I highly recommend it.

I've read several books written by Claire Boston; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
