OMG I loved this book. I feel most assured that the author put lots of thought into how the entirety of the novel would flow, and definitely aced it all the way. This has been a fabulous journey from Mars to Earth. Included is lots of loss, drama, adventure, and a little romance thrown in, with more loss. Simply put, one of the best and well written books I've read in a while. Thanks for the first book in series being free, I have now found a new author that I will be looking for more from.

Just plain STUPID! The book started off well. Interesting, reasonably well written. Then it went into the crapper. The entire premise is based on something ludicrous. It went into stupidville. Completely lost interest, and threw it in the trash. Worthless. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Waste of time. Given this performance, I have no interest in anything else by this writer.

I couldn't put it down. Exciting, imaginative, and heart wrenching. I must have more... on to the next book in the series! 😋

About the author

Cidney Swanson is the award-winning author of the Ripple Series and the YA Mars series beginning with Saving Mars (Named to Kirkus Reviews' Best of 2012/SCBWI Spark Honor Book 2013.) When she’s not writing, Cidney is distracted by shinythings such as books with raised foil covers, macarons in jars, and stars setagainst an inky night sky. She lives in Eugene, Oregon with her husband, threekids, two cats, a dog, and entirely too much rain.
