Instead of ending with a bang we ended with a touching epilogue that I for one found more interesting. My enjoyment of this series had been waning for a volume or two now. I enjoyed underdog Jinwoo leveling up and improving his situation. I enjoyed seeing him use his power in daily life and to improve things. I enjoyed other people's perspectives on these things. I didn't enjoy blatant power creep to raise stakes or the end of the level ups. So in many ways this volume gave me back much of what I enjoyed from previous volumes. What's more I think this might have been the best way to end this story. I'll admit it could have been executed better (the do-over button for example), but the overall concept feels like the best way to wrap it up. Not with a bang, but with a warm outro of friends being happy.

I found this book disappointing. I was expecting exciting clashes and extended battle scenes. Instead, the author basically skips all the battles, focuses on weird high school dramas, then revisits the battles in unsatisfactory back flashes. Then the story line randomly jumps around all over the place as the hero grows up. There is absolutely no structure to this book, and no excitement. Disappointing conclusion to the series.

In this book the story feels rushed and the ending is very disappointing. Buyer beware that only the first 61 pages are used to conclude the story. The other 204 are used for "Bonus Stories". If you are looking for a book as gripping as the last 7 in the series then you are sure to be let down. Great series overall but this last book just wasn't as good as the last ones.
