Ratings and reviews

I've read most of the EU, and a lot of them lost the magic that Star Wars had. Too much focus was always brought upon the main characters of the movies. Many attempts to bring interest to original characters were half hearted, under developed, and quickly forgotten. This book does a fantastic job of making you care about more than the Skywalkers, Solos, Sith, Jedi, and even the force.

Galli&Narawal,are two interesting characters.At the END of 'Life Debt' Galli is given an offer as a hired hand,I'm curious to know what happens here.Meanwhile Leia and companions have a mission of their own:Rescue&Assist Han and Chewie. Star Wars is always good. Looking forward to next chapter of this story. Empire's End.

The Force is weak with this book -- literally. Not as absent as the first book, but it's still pretty devoid of the Force. Fans of Solo will probably like this book. Fans of Jedi, light sabers, and the intricacies of the Force will find this one tolerable...if they have patience. It's considered canon and it does fill in some blanks.
