About this ebook

Being undead sucks. Literally.

Just ask C. Thomas Flood. Waking up after a fantastic night unlike anything he's ever experienced, he discovers that his girlfriend, Jody, is a vampire. And surprise! Now he's one, too. For some couples, the whole biting-and-blood thing would have been a deal breaker. But Tommy and Jody are in love, and they vow to work through their issues.

But word has it that the vampire who initially nibbled on Jody wasn't supposed to be recruiting. Even worse, Tommy's erstwhile turkey-bowling pals are out to get him, at the urging of a blue-dyed Las Vegas call girl named (duh) Blue.

And that really sucks.

I should have quit at this book, but I thought it could have potentially. It all just chalks down to the fact that I hate Tommy as a protagonist. He's just not interesting, kinda dumb, and so when all shenanigans break out as normal I just didn't care in the slightest. The whole thing with Blue was just a little too much, even for Moore. There gets to be a point where the story just doesn't work and the humor doesn't go anywhere. Unfortunately, that happened about halfway through the book for me. This series has actually turned me OFF Christopher Moore, to the point that I haven't bothered reading some of his other series sequels that I actually was interested in. Just very disappointed.
