Wooding hammers out a world and lets nothing fall through; a world with nationalities, creeds, politics, technology, mysticism and a bounty of voices to set the stage in their appropriate vocabulary, quirks, and priorities. His work is without a peer.
About the author
Chris Wooding has written sixteen books, which have been translated into twenty languages and been published around the world. His 2009 novel, Retribution Falls, was nominated for the Arthur C. Clarke Award, and his children's books have won the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize Silver Award and the Lancashire Children's Book of the Year. He lives in London.
