This story was over the top. I found the main character whiney in a self involved pity party. Now, I understand that she had a hard blow, but more than half of this book was a “poor me but I am a brave soul” it was hard to take after a few chapters. It made me wonder, during those weeks of crawling around, who was cleaning up after her. Then we move into the sticky sweet romance. Just too much of a good thing. Disappointed by this story, to say the least.

Truth be told I was looking for escapism and this book doesn't provide it. It is honest and very real and at times I wondered if I would read it to its completion. But I am glad I persevered because without expecting it to, Enshrine taught me a few valuable life lessons.

This is very different from the books of Ms. Chelle. I'm not saying it's bad different, it's good, FL's reactions are quite understandable thought may be a bit frustrating, but very normal for what she had been through. I am in love with Bruno. He is perfect. Overall, I wouldn't say this was the best read, despite having all the elements that would grip your interest. It was an okay read for me, hence the 4 star..
