About the author
Cathy O'Neil é doutora em Matemática pela Universidade de Harvard. Trabalhou no mercado financeiro, no MIT e no Barnard College. Fundou a O'Neil Risk Consulting & Algorithmic Auditing (ORCAA), uma empresa de auditoria algorítmica. Atualmente vive em Massachusetts com seu marido e três filhos. De sua autoria, a editora Rua do Sabão publicou o best-seller Algoritmos de Destruição em Massa.
