About this ebook

This eleventh memoir and latest title from the internationally bestselling author and foster carer Cathy Glass can either be read as a full eBook or in 3 serialised eBook-only parts. Will You Love Me tells the true story of Cathy’s adopted daughter Lucy.

Lucy was born to a single mother who had been abused and neglected for most of her own childhood. Right from the beginning Lucy’s mother couldn’t cope, but it wasn’t until Lucy reached eight years old that she was finally taken into permanent foster care.

By the time Lucy is brought to live with Cathy she is eleven years old and severely distressed after being moved from one foster home to another. Withdrawn, refusing to eat and three years behind in her schooling, it is thought that the damage Lucy has suffered is irreversible.

But Cathy and her two children bond with Lucy quickly, and break through to Lucy in a way no-one else has been able to, finally showing her the loving home she never believed existed. Cathy and Lucy believe they were always destined to be mother and daughter – it just took them a little while to find each other.

love Cathy Glass books. so real and heart touching every time. This one is a special one and a must read. Great insight into the high and lows of fostering. It's a very difficult world and a sigh of relief having people like Ms Glass in it. Thank you.

Definatley another 5 star review for Cathy... Poor Poor Lucy and all she went through before she got to Cathy and how well she dealt with it all and not become bitter at all... So incredibly glad that she is now permanently with Cathy and her lovely family... It did make me laugh how the cat Toscha magically appeared when the abrupt social worker was there... It's good that not all social workers are like that one... I'm so relieved that all went well and little Lucy can finally have the settled loving family she deserves... What an inspiration Cathy is taking in all these poor children and changing there little lives for the better... Will defo be looking for more of these books and also I have just learnt if you like Thrillers Cathy also goes of the name Lisa Stone and writes Thrillers too... So I'm undecided whether to read another one from Cathy or try a Lisa story..??.. Either way here is 5 stars for this one 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤗👍
