I enjoyed Caleb and Zoey's story but I can't say that I liked Caleb. Zoey is a strong and independent woman who is a great friend and an even better sister, I think she deserves better than a man who keeps secrets and hurts her in a way that was totally unnecessary (all he had to do was talk to her about where their relationship was going). I like how strong the family connections are in this story. Caleb and his siblings are close and look out for each other and Zoey would do anything for her sister even when she is being a bridezilla. This is an easy to read story that keeps you turning pages to see if they get their HEA.

I wanted to love the heck out of this story. I truly did. I spent a lot of the time wanting to choke the main characters. Zoey for hiding her feelings for Caleb, her ENTIRE life. And Caleb for being so utterly malely (I know, that's not a word) stupid. It's like neither one of them wanted to face reality, so they chose to enjoy the status quo until life blew up in their faces. Spectacularly. I mean, in your face, call an ambulance, almost tragically, in their faces. I'm not going to sit here and say that I hated the story, because I didn't. I truly enjoyed it, didn't want to put it down, just so I could find out what happened next. Caleb and Zoey definitely deserved their happy ending and no one was more relieved than me for them to finally get there.

Caleb is a guy that's always tried to do the right thing in his relationships. He's not a saint but he's always showed respect to his partners, both current and past. Zoey has loved Caleb since childhood and has watched from a distance as Caleb has gone through girlfriend after girlfriend. Finally, Zoey decides to do something about it. There was a lot to really enjoy about this story. I loved the introduction into their coincidental meetings. I found the dynamic of their adult relationship to be quite realistic (& heartbreaking because of that) but admit that there was a time when I wanted to reach into my ebook & shake some sense into Caleb! Really enjoyable & a fitting finale for this family.
