This is the third book of four in this Elements of Five fantasy series. This is a wonderful exciting series, with still plenty of mystery and twists and turns. The adventure continues and the journey towards peace and saving the realm is ongoing. I am really looking forward to the final book in the series and the culmination of all this growing anticipation and finding out if the Spirit Priestess will prevail over the evil Shadows. A great series and a wonderful author. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

The battle for the realm continues. Lyric is the Spirit Priestess and needs to quickly learn how to use the elements to save the realm. Rhodes isn't dead and Easton returns from the Shadows and they need to work together to overcome the evil that is spreading. They win the battle but that ending just leaves us dying to know what happens next. Can't wait for the next book.

I knew when I started reading this new series, I knew I was going to be dragging my feet. It is so hard to wait for the next part! I'm a binger, I prefer to read or watch or listen to stories in bulk, all at once. That being said, Oh, man. I can't even. The suspense. All the action, the fighting, the training, the intense interpersonal moments. So emotional! Watching (reading) Lyric grow into her powers is at once, empowering, and infuriating. Young adult angst is a real thing, and the author definitely remembers being young and in love. I'm waiting, not so patiently for the rest of the story. Great adventure.
