About this ebook

Her twin sister is missing.

When Ariana Costas heard her twin sister, Zoe, had disappeared, Ari left Vermont and returned to her Jersey girl roots to find her. Ari didn’t know what to expect from her search, but danger around every corner, dodging bullets, and a hunk in a leather jacket saving her was not it.

He thought she was someone else.

Detective Quinn Donovan thought he located Zoe Costas. Beautiful, dark haired and a perfect match to the description he’d been given, he believes he has his lady. Except as it turns out, the gorgeous woman is Zoe’s twin Ariana, the college professor. Suddenly, Quinn’s job is more about trying to protect Ari who is in trouble deeper than the Atlantic at high tide. There’s more at stake than trying to protect her without spilling his well-guarded secrets.

Will he lose his heart and the girl in the process?

4.5 Stars I loved this book a lot. I read it in a day. I got sucked right into Ari's life and her family. I love this quirky family so much. They make you laugh with their antics, but you can feel the love this family has. Ari struggles with her family, but with her twin missing she returns home. It's really eye opening for her. I loved Quinn and Ari. They fit and Quinn makes Ari embrace all the sides of her. Which is one of my favorite parts. I would highly recommend this one. It gives you a little of everything; humor, heart, heat, and suspense.

If you're looking for a quick, fun, easy read you'll want to grab this first book in the Costas Sisters Duet. This book had me intrigued with the story that I finished it within hours of starting. Ari left home years ago to get as far away from her family as she could, but it's also the same reason she ends up back home..... family. Quinn is the undercover detective trying to complete his case until Ari throughs a kink in his plans. This story was filled with a boisterous Greek family, some witty banter, a little suspense and so much chemistry! Looking forward to the next book in this duet.

First, I like Quinn. He is so real, reasonable and good at doing his job. I like that he tries to take care of Sam. But I don't like Ariana's attitude much. Oh, I understand why she is like that but I still don't like it. At least, she finally onercomes her own issue though. I think the story is intriguing with how the author will unfold the mystery of Ariana's twin's disappearance even if the most parts are about how Quinn and Ariana will end up together because both of them have their own baggages. The plot is also intersting with Ariana's family and Sam in the background but sometime I think the author writes them way too messy for my liking. It should be funny but I don't think it is that why I give it 4 stars.
