Starr Elizabeth Conner's second chance at life with Torg has encountered some problems on planet Dakon. Starr is not the only one that has lied to Torg and others. The Terran secrets could be exposed. In times like these it's important to find out who the real friends are? Danger has followed her across the stars to this alien planet. She may not be able to dodge it for long. If she's caught the consequences could prove to be fatal. Could Torg be what she desperately needs to survive? Alien Mate gets four stars from me. Read to find out how Terran women adjust to this alien bride exchange. The setting was realistic. The story was well-written and characters' dialogues immerse the reader in a good escape read. You get science fiction, romance, suspense and drama all in this story.

I couldn't tell how long the book was the thing said it was over 200 pgs but when u read the story it says 24 pgs other than that it was a good story i wouldn't mind reading more stories from this series

I loved this book & thought it did a great job of introducing the Dakonian world as well as laying the groundwork for the series. I have already read the fourth book in the series as well as the Dakonian Alien Mail Order Brides Series so I was familiar with some things but loved backtracking to get a fuller history of where the series began & getting to know Starr & Torg in this book. I am looking forward to reading the next book and reading about Torg's brother finding his mate.
