Ratings and reviews

Verdict: Way too much info-dumping & a very disappointing end to what had been a fascinating series. Analysis: I loved the first three books & enjoyed the fourth a lot, but the final two are such a disappointment. They consist almost entirely of info-dumping, coincidences pile up, & our narrator is sidelined, spending all her time waiting on other people's actions & wringing her hands over Dane. After doing such a good job building up the plight of the servants, their ending feels like an anti-climactic afterthought rather than a triumphant resolution. Also, there is not enough Erik.

Once again C_J's out done herself with another gripping tale of Romance, treachery, excitement n surprises...xxx

I couldn't put this book down and finished it in a day ... soooo can't wait for the next book
