The journey of Peter the fisherman constitutes the third installment of the tetralogy that the author has dedicated to recounting the history of primitive christianity. This book deals with a character that has attracted much less attention from historians: Simon the son of Jonas, the fisherman who left everything to follow Jesus to the shore of the Sea of Galilee.
In this work, divided into four parts, the author explains the world Peter lived in, including its political, economic, and social aspects. Vidal is convinced that these pages are enormously useful, and that like his other works, the integrity of the historical research will honor the legacy and life of the apostle Peter.
