About the author

Jeannean has been teaching in Medical Imaging at Arkansas State University since 1991. In that time, she has served as interim program director, Faculty Senate senator, Faculty Association Secretary, Vice-President of the Arkansas Society of Radiologic Technologists, and numerous committees for the college and university. Additionally, she has been a recipient of the Arkansas State University Board of Trustees Faculty Award for Teaching Excellence and the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Distinguished Author Award. She has numerus national peer-reviewed journal publications and continuously provides presentations at various local, state, and national forums. Jeannean is co-author of Merrill's Atlas of Radiographic Positioning and Procedures, an internationally renowned textbook in medical imaging procedures. Her other scholarly activities focus on providing electronic instructional tools for medical imaging educators
