Still good and full of fantastic surreal imagery, but found myself not enjoying it as much as the first. I think because I 'm finding it hard to identify with Marco and Alana.

As with the first volvume, the craftsmanship, time and love put into this project is evident from the first page. The character development and relationship building throughout the body of the volume is pleasing and warm; cold and angry. A genuine feeling of disapproval from the mother, and a heartfelt sense of love from the father, are both very evident and well written. My only gripes are as follows: 1, I didn't realize we were experiencing a flashback at one point; and 2, I read through it too quickly.

Love the themes of love and war, the humor, and the dazzling scifi action. Just binge read both volumes today, and it was well worth the money. I honestly can't wait to pick up(download?) volume 3.
