I'm a sucker for superhero stories, especially their origins. But I was rather disappointed at the lack of, "HOLY CRAP! WHAT'S GOING ON?! HOW CAN I RUN THIS FAST???" This story is really meant for established fans who already know the timeless tale of Barry Allen. But it's a good starting point for newbies. It might be because I'm a new comic reader, but the flow of the story felt kinda jumpy. Not very smooth. Maybe that's just comics? Still, I love the Flash!

This comic is short, only twenty-two pages, and worth buying if you like Flash or if your are interested in learning about Flash.
