I was so excited when I heard that Brenda Rothert had a new series releasing. I have read numerous books by this author and they have ticked all the boxes every time. The Donor was no exception. From the first chapter to the last I was hooked on this story. From the moment I first read the blurb, I couldn’t wait to read this book. I loved Shelby Grant and Beau Fox both separately but especially as a couple. I fell hard and fast for Beau, such a caring, compassionate and swoon worthy man .

This book was perfect! I can't say I was interested in the hockey part but I was totally invested in the leads relationship and how it developed cuz it was the most mature but wholesome thing I have ever read in my life.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved Beau and Shelby. They were such different characters yet so perfect for each other. Their story touched my heart.
