Ratings and reviews

Loved it! Romance was cute, slugs were cute, giant space monster was... arguably cute but more importantly giant and space monstery. Ending felt a bit short (expected Sunreach to be a larger part of the plot) but the upcoming novellas will probably soothe that problem a bit as we see more stuff, and it's already long for a novella so I can forgive it.

Rough, stilting start but it got better as the story progressed and I can wait for the next novella!!

Janci Patterson writes in a variety of genres, so whatever you’re looking for, she’s probably got something you’ll like.  Her first book, Chasing the Skip, was published by Henry Holt in 2012.  After publishing several contemporary YA novels and the YA paranormal A Thousand Faces trilogy, Janci discovered a love of collaboration and has written books with Megan Walker, Lauren Janes, James Goldberg, and Brandon Sanderson.
