About this ebook

The transition from President Donald J. Trump to President Joseph R. Biden Jr. stands as one of the most dangerous periods in American history.

But as #1 internationally bestselling author Bob Woodward and acclaimed reporter Robert Costa reveal for the first time, it was far more than just a domestic political crisis. Woodward and Costa interviewed more than 200 people at the center of the turmoil, resulting in more than 6,000 pages of transcripts—and a spellbinding and definitive portrait of a nation on the brink.

This classic study of Washington takes readers deep inside the Trump White House, the Biden White House, the 2020 campaign, and the Pentagon and Congress, with eyewitness accounts of what really happened. Intimate scenes are supplemented with never-before-seen material from secret orders, transcripts of confidential calls, diaries, emails, meeting notes and other personal and government records, making Peril an unparalleled history. It is also the first inside look at Biden’s presidency as he began his presidency facing the challenges of a lifetime: the continuing deadly pandemic and millions of Americans facing soul-crushing economic pain, all the while navigating a bitter and disabling partisan divide, a world rife with threats, and the hovering, dark shadow of the former president.

I wonder if theres any peril from the taliban reassurting dominance in afghanistan. Or any fear being overplayed by the current administration about covid. Or what about the faux rage every democrat seems to take over any policiy a republican lawmaker puts forth. Either way all his books been money grabs and made him wealthy enough to be in the top 2%. Funny how during Trumps presideceny many many people made profit off story telling. Even funnier is the fact if you add them all up the books that have sold over the last four years itd be well over 4 billion dollars earned for those authors. With over 3m copies sold from this triligy made by Woodward. And another 50 some + books published by various other authors. Makes you remember trumps economy was record low unemployment and highest wage numbers among other positive aspects. But in the long run it will be many years before we get a president who inspires so much determintion, passion, and energy(even negative) from every American

I totally despise this author as being completely biased. Heh heh you'll never hear of him write one word on the"left wing Dems that are all haters". It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth that you would promote such reading material, there ya have it.

This was written for a Dem by a Dem. It's written in a way for all Dems to feel validated and secure about their position. It's not thought provoking but meant to establish a reassurance of one side's vote. If you voted for Biden, you should understand that you've given up certain rights. Writing books to validate others isn't honorable and shouldn't be profitable.
